Our name “Inkazi” draws inspiration from the a blend of English and Swahili word for “Ink” symbolizing our commitment to preserving and sharing Africa’s narratives through the written word and “kazi” which speaks to the energy and passion we put in the work we do.
As a newly established publishing house, we are building something unprecedented, a literary home that prioritizes African narratives, supports African authors at every stage of their journey, builds their brand, and ensures that African stories reach readers worldwide.
